Hikoi event for Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori
This September, Tātau Tātau o Te Wairoa have teamed up with Wairoa District Council, Te Wairoa Reo Rua, The Gaiety Theatre and Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori to celebrate Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori.
On Monday 14 September, 12 noon, we will gather at The Lighthouse and walk along the footpath to Mānukanui Pa - Library Green.
Join us! And accept our challenge to make a sign celebrating Wairoa as a Te Reo Town - make it bright and colourful!
